Dolton man charged with murdering Oak Forest man

OAK FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Dolton man has been charged with murdering a 68-year-old man in Oak Forest last month.

Oak Forest police said on January 23 they responded to a residence in the 15000-block of Sunset Avenue for a report of an unresponsive person.

First responders located 68-year-old Michael Arnold and pronounced him dead at the scene, police said. His death was ruled a homicide.

On Monday, a grand jury indicted Steven Knox, 19, on eight counts of first-degree murder, police said. He is scheduled to appear for a detention hearing on Wednesday.
