CHICAGO (WLS) -- A fire gutted a building on Chicago's North Side on Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out on North Broadway, just south of West Devon Avenue on the border of the city's Edgewater and Rogers Park neighborhoods.
The building used to house a restaurant but has been vacant for some time.
There are reports that the roof may have collapsed, but no injuries have been reported.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before they could spread to a neighboring building.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
Further information was not immediately available.
