First responders rush to put out deadly Tesla fire in Florida, video shows

A 24-year-old woman died after she became trapped inside her burning car in North Miami Beach, Florida

The crash happened on Wednesday, October 1, according to the North Miami Beach Police Department.

Officers responded to the "scene of a critical accident," where they found a Tesla completely engulfed in flames.

The driver, who was later identified as Julie Eibinder, was trapped in the car.

Police said she died.

Bodycam footage shows officers rushing to put out the flames with fire extinguishers and breaking the car's windows.

The flames were eventually extinguished by a crew from the Miami-Dade Fire Department.
