
GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- A person was injured in a police-involved shooting at a hospital in Northwest Indiana.
The shooting happened Tuesday night at Methodist Northlake Hospital in Gary, Indiana, the Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr.
The Lake County Sheriff's Department was called to investigate after an adult was injured in an officer-involved shooting, officials said.
An adult was injured, but no police officers were hurt, the sheriff said.
The exact circumstances of the shooting and the injured person's age and gender, and their condition, were not yet known.
