Goodman Theatre's 'A Christmas Carol' returns with young stars

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Goodman Theatre's holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol, is back for the 2025 season with new moments and a cast of young performers.

Ella Boparai makes her Goodman debut as Tiny Tim, while Viva Boresi returns for her third year as Belinda Cratchit. Both joined ABC7 Eyewitness News to share what audiences can look forward to this year.

Boparai called stepping into Tiny Tim's shoes "fun and inspiring," and Boresi said she enjoys bringing fresh energy to a story she has performed in before.
