NW Indiana man, bounce house company owner accused of soliciting teen employee, child porn: sheriff

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- A northwest Indiana man who owns a bounce house company is behind bars on child porn charges.

According to investigators, Colin Dwyer-Keon, 32, of Hammond employed teenagers at the bounce house business and solicited them.

He also allegedly had pornographic content on his phone depicting minors between 14 and 16 years old, and one under the age of 12, from June to Oct. 16 of this year.

He's accused of enticing a teenager to expose himself and perform sexually explicit acts between June and July of 2024, the Lake County, Indiana Sheriff's Department said.

A victim alleged the incidents occurred at multiple locations, including the suspect's home, at a hotel while the two were working at a fair in another Indiana town and at a local storage facility, the sheriff's department said.

Until recently, Dwyer-Keon had worked in law enforcement. He was employed part-time at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond and also worked for the Schneider, Indiana Police Department, officials said.

Dwyer-Keon turned himself in to the Lake County Jail Wednesday.

There is no bond.

He's due in court Monday.
