Harpo Studio demolition begins, making way for McDonald's HQ

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Demolition has begun on Oprah Winfrey's former Harpo Studios in the city's West Loop neighborhood.

On Monday, wrecking crews could be seen beginning the teardown work at the studio.

In June, McDonald's announced it would move its corporate headquarters from suburban Oak Brook to the site at 1045 W. Randolph St.
