Man robbed in Chicago, bound and gagged, found on porch in Harvey, police say
HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- A man was robbed in Chicago before he was later found bound and gagged on the porch of a home in the south suburbs Friday afternoon.
Police responded to the 15500 block of Loomis Avenue in Harvey and found a man in his late 30s to early 40s bound and gagged on the porch of a home.

The man is a dialysis patient and was taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said.
Investigators said the victim was allegedly robbed at an unknown location in the city of Chicago, and he was restrained and bound before being brought to the Harvey residence.
"This was a deeply disturbing incident," Harvey Police Chief Dale Mitchell said in a statement. "Our officers responded immediately, secured the scene and ensured the victim received medical attention. Our investigation has determined that the underlying incident occurred in Chicago, and we will be coordinating with the Chicago Police Department as the investigation moves forward."
No further information was available as Harvey and Chicago police continue to investigate.
