Historic Union Pacific train 'Big Boy' rolls into West Chicago

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) -- History is on the move and right now, you can see it in West Chicago.

Union Pacific's "Big Boy Number 4014" is the world's largest operating steam locomotive. It reached West Chicago late Tuesday afternoon.

People can see the legendary locomotive today at the Union Pacific Training Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in West Chicago.

There is no parking at the training center. People can take Metra to the West Chicago Station or park in certain areas with shuttle service. Expect heavy traffic.
