A bill to make the Italian beef Illinois' official sandwich is now headed to the full House.

It would replace the Horseshoe, a meat patty on toast, topped with fries and smothered in cheese sauce.

ABC7 expects more at a press conference on Friday morning at Pop's Italian Beef on the South Side.
