Republican Indiana lawmakers targeted by bomb threats, 'swatting' over redistricting battle

INDIANAPOLIS (WLS) -- Several Indiana lawmakers have become victims of targeted threats, police said.

At least seven Republican state senators and Governor Mike Braun have reported receiving bomb threats or being the victims of "swatting."

The threats began Sunday evening after President Donald Trump criticized a lawmaker for being opposed to redistricting in the state.

The FBI and Indiana State Police are investigating the threats.
