
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were injured, one critically, in a crash on Chicago's Northwest Side early Sunday morning, police said.
Chicago police said a 31-year-old man was driving a BMW sedan southbound on West Grand Avenue when he struck a wall near North Central Avenue in the city's Belmont Central neighborhood just before 3 a.m.
A passenger in the sedan, a 46-year-old woman, was transported to Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The driver was taken to the same hospital in fair condition.
CPD's Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
