Chicago man with dementia missing, last seen at lakefront, family says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago man with dementia is missing, police said.

Jim Brown, 71, was last seen on Sunday. His family said he has dementia.

His vehicle was found abandoned at at Chicago and Lake Shore Drive, police said.

Chicago police said officers searched the lakefront between Ohio Street Beach and Oak Street Beach and have not found him.

Police said he might have boarded the #3 CTA Bus on Chicago Avenue at 4:40 p.m. on July 27.

He was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, gym shoes and a gold colored chain.
