July 7 is last day to buy Chicago sticker online

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Monday, July 7, is the final day to buy a Chicago vehicle sticker online in order to beat the July 15 grace period deadline.

Because of quicker processing, the recommended last day to buy a sticker was pushed back a full week.

There is no extra fee for buying a vehicle sticker online. Vehicle owners have until Tuesday, July 15, to display the new sticker. Sticks remain on sale at the city clerk's office.

Violators face tickets starting at $200.
