Water main break causes flooding at Justice apartments, video shows

JUSTICE, Ill. (WLS) -- Some living at an apartment complex in the southwest suburban Justice woke up to flooding on Thursday morning.

Video shows that a water main break sent water gushing into the air.

It happened at the Sun Set Lakes apartment near 88th Avenue.

People who live there say the water gushed for several hours, flooding the first floor.

Police said since it is a private property, Sun Set Lakes Management is responsible for the investigation.

ABC7 reached out to village officials for an update.
