Kane County Cougars' bus destroyed in fire set by 15-year-old girl in Canada, police say

GENEVA, Ill. (WLS) -- The Kane County Cougars were forced to find new transportation after their charter bus was destroyed in an arson fire, police said.

The fire happened while the baseball team was sleeping at their hotel in Winnipeg, Canada.

Police in Winnipeg say they believe the fire was set by a 15-year-old girl, who is now facing arson charges.

The team says some gear and personal items were ruined, but they're just happy everyone is okay.
