
MILWAUKEE (WLS) -- Three people were rescued Thursday afternoon, after a small plane crashed in Lake Michigan off the coast of Wisconsin, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The call for help came in about 12:45 p.m.
The aircraft crashed about 12 nautical miles off the coast of Milwaukee, the Coast Guard said.
The three were rescued about 1:30 p.m.

The survivors' conditions were not immediately provided.
They were taken to Station Milwaukee, awaiting medical care, Coast Guard officials said.
The aircraft has fully sunk.
