Man, woman found dead in car, Harvard police say

HARVARD, Ill. (WLS) -- A man and a woman were found dead inside a car in the north suburbs, police said.

Harvard police said they saw a parked car near the 700 block of North Division Street with its hazard lights on at about 11:52 p.m. on Monday.

As the officer approached, they found two people dead.

The woman was in the driver's seat, and the man was in the passenger seat.

Harvard police said they are conducting a death investigation.

The McHenry County Major Investigative Assistance Team is investigating the incident.

People are asked to avoid the area as North Division Street was closed between Diggins Street (Route 173) and McKinley Street.
