
MUNDELEIN, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were shot, one fatally, Tuesday morning in north suburban Mundelein, police said.
Mundelein police responded about 11:40 a.m. to an apartment in the 500-block of Deepwoods Drive for a reported shooting, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said.
Police found a woman who had been shot. She suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A man was also taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound, where he later died, police said.

Mundelein police put out a description of a suspect vehicle, which Illinois State police located on an interstate near the Indiana border.
Police pulled the vehicle over and arrested a man and woman.
Video showed a large police response in Mundelein after the shooting.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and domestic in nature.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force is investigating.
