National Cheese Lover's Day gets a Chicago twist with Chef Sarah Stegner

CHICAGO (WLS) -- National Cheese Lover's Day took center stage on ABC7 Eyewitness News 7 a.m. live streaming newscast as James Beard Award-winning chef Sarah Stegner shared simple tips for elevating everyday cheese.

Stegner, co-owner of Prairie Grass Cafe, demonstrated an easy blue cheese and fig jam pairing and encouraged home cooks to focus on quality ingredients.

She also previewed Vines & Visionaries, a one-night collaborative dining event happening January 22 in Rosemont.
