Toys 'R' Us holds grand opening at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Toys "R" Us is back in a big way.

The iconic toy store returned to the Chicago area on Saturday.

A new 13,000 square-foot flagship store opened at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora.

Families came out for giveaways, face painting and a visit from Geoffrey the Giraffe.

The store features top toy brands, a Babies "R" Us section and an arcade just in time for the holidays.

All Toys "R" Us stores had closed in 2018 before recent attempts to revive the brand.
