A federal judge had issued a temporary restraining order, demanding the Department of Homeland Security make changes.

Now, plaintiffs and the government are agreeing to extend that order until April 22.

The government says that since Border Patrol Cmdr. Gregory Bovino left Illinois, fewer people are being processed in Broadview.

But the plaintiffs say they fear immigration enforcement will increase again in the spring.

A judge also recently issued an order giving attorneys more access to their clients inside the Broadview ICE facility.

It also requires the facility to provide weekly detainee logs every Wednesday.
