CHICAGO (WLS) -- A person of interest is in custody in connection with hateful vandalism spotted on the Southwest Side last week, Chicago police said.
Police said a man spray-painted the words "ICE rules" and swastikas at multiple locations in Little Village around midnight on Saturday, July 19.
The graffiti was found around buildings on West Cermak Road and South Central Park Avenue, CPD said.
One of the targets was a Latino community center.
This comes after police released images of a suspect wanted in connection with the vandalism. Police did not immediately say whether the person in custody is the same person in those images.
Police asked anyone with information to contact them.
