CHICAGO (WLS) -- Pinstripes abruptly closed several of its locations as it is getting ready to file for bankruptcy.
Among those shuttered locations is the Pinstripes in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood.
Pinstripes Holdings, Inc. closed 10 of its 18 locations.
In a social media post, the company announced it will voluntarily file for Chapter 2 bankruptcy.
Owners are looking to sell the remaining locations.
Pinstripes in Oak Brook, South Barrington, and Northbrook will remain open while they look for a new buyer.
"Your gift cards and event deposits remain valid at continuing locations, and this process will allow us to emerge stronger," a spokesperson said on social media.
