Several rescued by Chicago Fire Department in West Englewood extra-alarm fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Several people were rescued from an extra-alarm fire in a West Englewood home Wednesday morning, the Chicago Fire Department said.

The fire broke out in a home in the 6200-block of South Paulina Avenue.

The conditions of the people rescued by firefighters were not immediately known.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
