Snowboarder in Austria survives avalanche

A snowboarder managed to survive an avalanche without any injuries.

Russell Weber and his friend decided to go off-trail while snowboarding in Ischgl, Austria. Weber was recording footage of his friend's ride from the bottom of the mountain when suddenly the powder came tumbling down behind the snowboarder.

Despite the sudden surprise, Weber's friend managed to ride the avalanche down safely.
