'Sock Panda' makes delivery to A Safe Haven in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A cross country tour to deliver socks to those in need this winter stopped in Chicago.

Sock Panda is an online subscription company that donates a pair of socks for each one bought. On Monday, the Sock Panda mascot delivered those socks at A Safe Haven on West Roosevelt.

A Safe Haven has been supported by Governor-elect Bruce Rauner and his wife, and on Monday, Lieutenant Governor-elect Evelyn Sanguinetti joined Sock Panda delivering those socks.
