Armed thieves targeting food delivery workers in South Shore, Chicago police warn

CHICAGO -- Chicago police issued a warning about armed thieves targeting food delivery workers in a South Side neighborhood.

Police said in each incident, one to four men with handguns approach people delivering food and take their property.

At least two robberies have happened on the same block in the South Shore neighborhood:

  • 7700-block of South Kingston Avenue on July 28 around 1:58 a.m.

  • 7700-block of South Kingston Avenue on July 30 around 11 p.m.

The suspects are described being between 20 and 40 years old.
