South Shore Drill Team takes final spotlight on 'Road to the Bud'

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The South Shore Drill Team is marking 45 years of empowering youth through performance, discipline, and community service. The celebrated Chicago group will appear live Friday morning on ABC7's Eyewitness News at 7 a.m., part of the station's "Road to the Bud" series leading up to the Bud Billiken Parade.

The team, known for its precision and passion, has performed for presidents and international audiences. Director of Special Events Stella Natufe will discuss the team's year-round impact and what viewers can expect from this weekend's parade performance.
