
TRACY, Calif. -- Firefighters are responding to a massive commercial fire that broke out in Tracy, California Thursday afternoon. CAL FIRE said the fire broke out just before 2 p.m.
According to the Tracy Police Department, officers are currently on the scene.
The public is asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.

"Promontory Parkway will be closed while fire crews work to contain the fire and ensure the area is safe. Tracy Police officers are on scene assisting with evacuations and directing traffic," TPD said in a statement.
San Joaquin County Supervisor Robert Rickman said the area was at the Medline building in the ProLogis International Park of Commerce business park. Medline distributes medical supplies across the U.S.
