Woman found shot to death at Wisconsin home, baby unharmed, police say

TWIN LAKES, Wis. (WLS) -- A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a 37-year-old woman was found shot to death in a Wisconsin home, police said. A baby was found at the home unharmed.

Twin Lakes police responded to the Tan Oak Apartments, located at 615 Wilmot Ave., just after 9 a.m. Monday for a reported shooting.

The man, who police identified as a suspect, was detained when they arrived.

Police then found the dead woman and an 11-month-old baby and dog, who were unharmed.

Twin Lakes police said the man, Brandyn R. Hall, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a felon and disorderly conduct while armed.

The woman killed was identified as Amber K. Montana.

Twin Lakes police and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office are investigating.

They did not provide any additional information on what led up to the deadly shooting.

There is no known threat to the community, police said.
