Uber announces 'Uber Pool'

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Uber has announced a new ride-sharing service called "Uber Pool," which will let users split their ride and fare with strangers.

Uber Pool tries to match a user up with another person taking a similar route. The app tells you the name of your co-rider, and which one of you will get picked up first.
