
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was critically injured in an argument-turned-shooting on the city's North Side on Saturday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the West Rogers Park neighborhood's 6400-block of North Richmond Street just after 6 a.m.
A 45-year-old man was walking outside when he started arguing with someone, police said. That person took out a gun and fired shots, striking the man in the torso.
Police said the victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition.
Officers took the alleged shooter into custody.
Area Three detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information.
