CHICAGO (WLS) -- It was a spooktacular episode of "Windy City Weekend" Friday. Ryan Chiaverini, Val Warner and media personalities Kenzie and Roman revealed their popstar-themed Halloween costumes to celebrate the day.

Things were getting gourd-geous in the studio. Warner and Chiaverini faced off in a Halloween pumpkin carving showdown, each bringing in their best creation carved at home earlier this week.
The trick? Warner had a little help from expert pumpkin carver Chris Larsen, also known as The Pumpkin Butcher.

Larsen is Chicago-based, and has been carving for 15 years. You may have seen his work on season nine of Halloween Wars, at Night of 1,000 Jack-o'-Lanterns at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, or on "Windy City Live" in 2019. You can see more of Larsen's work on his Instagram @pumpkinbutcher.
It was up to the audience to decide whose pumpkin reigned supreme.
