GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- A brand-new roller coaster is coming to Six Flags Great America in north suburban Gurnee.
It's so new, it doesn't have a name yet. But park officials said it will be the world's largest "loop coaster," standing about 100 ft. tall.
Thrill-seekers will be seated back-to-back and face-to-face. They'll ride forward and backward on a giant loop, before letting them hang upside down for "plenty of wicked hang-time."
The new ride, which will be Six Flags Great America's 16th roller coaster, should be open next spring.
