Thousands volunteer for Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of volunteers are doing their part for a good cause as part of the 25th annual Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon event for community improvement.

A crowd of more than 5,000 volunteers gathered at Daley Plaza Saturday morning before boarding buses to service locations around the city.
