College GameDay Built by The Home Depot kicks off its 36th season on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, where the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Hosted by Rece Davis and featuring former Buckeyes quarterback Kirk Herbstreit, this premier pregame show airs from 9 a.m. to noon ET on ESPN and ESPNU.

Musical performance by Jack Harlow
College GameDay welcomes Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow for a live performance during the show's Week 1 stop in Columbus. Harlow, winner of the Billboard Music Awards' 2021 Top New Artist, joins the GameDay crew as the guest picker for the first show of the 2022 season and will perform live during the telecast..

Why we're excited for ND @ OSU
- Both teams are ranked as preseason top-five opponents with Ohio State at No. 2 and Notre Dame at No. 5, but the 17.5-point spread by Caesars Sportsbook is just the fourth time in the past 45 years a team has been favored by 17 or more points in an AP top-five matchup.
- Both are among the seven college football teams that have at least a 1% chance of winning the national title, according to the Allstate Playoff Predictor.
- The Fighting Irish have inked two consecutive top-10 classes and are not only off to a strong start to extend that streak but also contending for the nation's top class.
