Man dies in swimming accident in Johnsburg

JOHNSBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- A man is dead after a swimming accident in northwest suburban Johnsburg.

Firefighters say three people were swimming in Pistakee Lake around 4 Sunday afternoon when their boat drifted away from them because of high winds.

Two made it to shore, a third was found floating in the water.

Crews rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
