CTA Blue Line service briefly suspended between Western, Damen due to fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- CTA Blue Line service was temporarily suspended between Western and Damen in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood early Sunday morning.



Officials said there was a fire near the tracks around 5 a.m.



Shuttle buses were provided between the two stops in both directions. Around 40 minutes later, Blue Line trains were moving again with residual delays.



There were no reports of any injuries. It is unclear how the fire started.
