Barrington middle schooler wins Lake County Spelling Bee

She's a super speller with a love for words and now she's headed to the Scripps National Spelling Bee and making Chicago Proud.

Aditi Mopur is a 7th grader at Barrington Middle School won after 17 rounds, beating dozens of students across Lake County.

She joined ABC7 along with Dr. Michael Karner, Lake County Regional Superintendent of Schools.
