Fifth Annual Ride for the Troops fundraiser held with new car show addition

PLAINFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Veterans, cyclists, and car enthusiasts came together in Plainfield on Sunday for the Fifth Annual Ride for the Troops fundraiser.

The event featured a community bike ride and, for the first time, a classic car show, which helped raise money through registrations, raffles, and donations.

All proceeds from the event benefit the USO, which helps support active-duty service members and their families.
