Plainfield woman charged in husband's killing and dismemberment pleads not guilty

PLAINFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban woman charged with a gruesome crime pleaded not guilty on Monday.

Robin Turner, the Plainfield woman charged with the dismemberment and killing of her husband, appeared in court on Monday morning.

Boaters found some of Dalewayne Turner's body parts in Lake Mattoon in June. Police discovered the rest in a basement freezer.

Robin Turner and the victim's half-brother, James Adams, now face first-degree murder charges.

Both suspects remain in custody.
