Local leaders celebrate Women's History Month with Grit and Grace Day

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of local leaders marked Women's History Month with a conference on the city's South Side.

Friday's event was called "Grit and Grace Day," and it was created by a breast cancer survivor. The event's goal is to equip women with the resources to be more successful at work and healthier and happier in life.

ABC7 Chicago's Cheryl Burton moderated a panel called, "Dish with the Divas."
