Wonderland Express returns
Dave Rodelius, the chief railroad engineer at the Chicago Botanic Garden, joined ABC7.

GLENCOE, Ill. (WLS) -- A holiday tradition is back at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

The illuminated landscapes of the Wonderland Express are now open through Jan. 3, 2016.

The model train exhibition showcases miniature versions of Chicago landmarks, including the Maggie Daley Skating Ribbon.

Tickets are just $12 for adults, or $10 for seniors and children ages 3 to 12. Kids under age 2 get in free. Wonderland Express is made possible with the support of ComEd, NorthShore University HealthSystem, Discover and Grainger.

Dave Rodelius, the chief railroad engineer at the Chicago Botanic Garden, joined ABC7 live from the Wonderland Express to share all the fun.

Admission: Garden is free, parking fees apply.
