Ludacris unveils new alcohol in Chicago

September 11, 2010 (CHICAGO) On his 33rd birthday, Ludacris was in Chicago to promote his "Conjure" cognac. A bottle signing was held Saturday at the Binny's in the South Loop, where fans could meet him and pose for photos.

"I just want to tell all the fans, you know, my first album came out in the year 2000, and it's now 2010. So, we're celebrating 10-year anniversary. We have a lot to celebrate. So, I just want to thank all the fans for supporting us since day one, and we're just getting started. So, we're going to continue to strive," Ludacris said.

The artist told ABC7 Chicago he is working on a new album and shooting the film Fast and Furious 5.

Ludacris was born in Champaign, Ill. and attended Oak Park River Forest High School.

He says there's no place like Chicago for celebrating a birthday.
