CHICAGO (WLS) -- Car manufacturers targeted the Latino community Friday, as it was Hispanic Heritage Day at the Chicago Auto Show - the beginning of the show's final weekend.

Attendee Al Rivers - who came all the way from Pennsylvania - isn't a salesman, but he sounds like it. And like thousands of others, he's visiting the Chicago Auto Show; a gift from his aunt.

"I think this is the best auto show that I've ever been to," Rivers said.

Every set of wheels is here.

"Al Rivers loves a Bentley Continental, drop top GT. I'll take it pearl with a tan interior, tan drop-top, it would be nice," Rivers said.

"Since he's been a good boy, he'll be able to get that," said Yashira Rivers, Al's wife. "The toy version of course!"

Nearly every walk of life is represented at the show, which focused on its Hispanic consumer base Friday.

"It feels like they care, they want to reach out to us," said Giovanni Cruz, an attendee.

"It is the fastest growing market," said Carolina Tejada, of Toyota.

"Too many cars to choose, but hopefully I can find something I like," said Jose Cruz, an attendee.

In real life, Rivers does have a sweet set of wheels.

"I have a 1976 Cadillac Deville, it's piped out, it's a good feel. It drinks top shelf wine, which is premium gas," Rivers said.

After all, this gives people a chance to shop, with the pressure. Even if that enthusiastic salesman is really not a salesman at all - just a car enthusiast having fun.

"Hospitality is great, I'm glad. This is my first time here, I will definitely be back," Rivers said.
