'Shark Tank' billionaire facing backlash over controversial business advice
A real estate mogul from the hit show "Shark Tank" is facing backlash after tweeting out some controversial business advice for women.

A real estate mogul from the hit show "Shark Tank" had some controversial business advice for women - hike up your skirt and get attention.

Barbara Corcoran, the founder of the multi-billion dollar Corcoran Group, is now being blasted for her latest tweet.

Corcoran is known for her brash and blunt way of speaking and she's not backing down despite her comment.

She wrote: "I find running a business in a man's world to be a huge advantage. I wear bright colors, yank up my skirt and get attention."

A Silicon Valley business owner is speaking out.

"The tweet wasn't helpful. But Barbara Corcoran is really smart and she's an incredibly successful businesswomen, so sharing advice on scaling sales teams, on leading as a manager, on financing, of building global businesses, that advice is wonderful," Glassbreakers co-owner Eileen Carey said.

Critics say he comment is inappropriate and the opposite of progressive.

Corcoran has since taken down the tweet but she will be appearing on "Good Morning America," presumably to defend herself.
