'Focal Point' campus finalizes land acquisition

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Community members marked a milestone Saturday in the development of a future campus on the city's Southwest Side.

The "Focal Point Community Campus" has finalized its land acquisition from the city.

It will be located at 32nd and Kedzie in the South Lawndale neighborhood.

The one-million square foot campus will offer wellness, education and recreation services.

It will both employ and give back financially to the neighborhood.
