CHICAGO -- Christmas is coming, but "Hamilton" is coming first. Show creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is auctioning off two VIP seats to Chicago's opening night, October 19. The winner also gets to attend the Post Show party with the cast and will get to meet Lin-Manuel himself. All proceeds benefit onePulse (hyperlink: http://www.onepulse.com/), the Orlando non-profit set up to assist the families of victims in the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Get your pennies together though, checked, bidding was at $10,000.

Start humming Christmas carols. The Goodman Theatre is holding youth auditions for its 39th production of "A Christmas Carol." Check out the casting call:

WHO: Youth (aged 5 - 17) performers of all genders and ethnicities are welcome to audition for the 39th annual production of "A Christmas Carol" at Goodman Theatre. Available roles include:

Tiny Tim

Belinda Cratchit

Emily Cratchit

Turkey Boy

WHAT: Performers should come prepared to deliver a memorized poem or monologue (one minute or less in length); sing a cappella one verse of a song, preferably a traditional holiday song or Christmas carol (no piano or musical accompaniment will be provided); and bring a photo and resume including previous theatrical and related experience/training (although experience is not required).

WHEN: Saturday, August 27

In-person registration from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Auditions from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

WHERE: Goodman Theatre, 170 North Dearborn Street
