CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel officially re-opened a newly renovated park on Chicago's Northwest Side Sunday when he cut the ribbon on the new Lucy Flower Park.

It's located in the 2500 block of West Moffat in the city's West Bucktown neighborhood.

The park now has brand new playground equipment, benches, picnic tables, a sandbox and raised flower beds.

This is part of the mayor's plan to build or rehab more than 100 parks across the city. He wants every kid to live within a ten minute walk to a park or playground.
